PRESENTATION

The second Manifestation Internationale Vidéo et Art Électronique will take place in Montreal from September 19 to 25, 1995 in the brand new USINE C space, situated at 1345 rue Lalonde in Montreal.

Within the context of this biennial, the critical awakening to the importance of video art and electronic arts on the level of content and presentation, the new Usine C presentation space and the extended team of Champ Libre collaborators will provide Champ Libre with the opportunity to clarify and think about the current issues at stake in the evolution of technological culture.

Following on its 1993 initiative, Champ Libre is presenting a selection of works that distinguish themselves through their creative use of electronic media and which express a creative vision that uses these media to integrate other disciplines such as dance, theatre, music, literature, cinema and the visual arts.
