Gaspesie, peninsular…
red earth posed on the
mountains with that immense
rock stranded close to the Atlantic
shore of Bonaventure Island…
the landscape of my childhood retains
its grandeur, and as André Breton wrote
in "Arcane 17" on this very spot in Percé,
on August 1944, "in Elisa's dream,
this old gypsy that wanted to kiss me
and whom I fled, but it was
Bonaventure Island, one of the greatest bird
sanctuaries in the world."
So here we are, Champ Libre
(cultural events organizer), in
Gaspesie, more nomadic than ever
so that we may, together, encounter
artists of the moving image, and share
ideas under an open sky!

and of course a bar and electronic music
