Cité des Ondes - Cécile Martin, (Montréal)
Reactivating the Public Sphere
Cité des Ondes is an arts and new media event, which
uses the media and media arts as a process and as a transformational
urban tool to revive a historically significant urban zone;
it also seeks to define the urban vision and future vocation
of both the site and its surroundings. The goal is to define
the role of electronic media in transforming the structure,
presence, and perception of the urban sphere.
