CHAMP LIBRE LANCE SON APPEL DE PROJET INTERNATIONAL POUR SA 7E BIENNALE QUI AURA LIEU À LA GRANDE BIBLIOTHÈQUE À MONTRÉAL À L'AUTOMNE 2006.

Libre est particulièrement fier d'annoncer la tenue
de la 7e MANIFESTATION INTERNATIONALE VIDÉO
ET ART ÉLECTRONIQUE, MONTRÉAL (MIVAEM),
événement biennal qui se déroulera du 20
septembre au 1er octobre 2006 sous le thème : Cité
invisible/Invisible City. Lors de cet événement
de grande envergure à la rencontre de l'architecture et
des nouveaux médias, le tout nouveau site de la GRANDE
BIBLIOTHÈQUE à Montréal, nouveau lieu du
savoir et de la culture à Montréal (inauguration
avril 2005) sera investi et scénographié afin de
proposer une programmation interdisciplinaire et une diffusion
multi-réseaux in situ touchant les domaines de la vidéo,
des arts électroniques, de l’architecture et de l’urbanisme.
Date limite de l'appel de projet, le 1er février 2006.
CHAMP LIBRE LAUNCHES AN INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR PROJECTS FOR ITS 7th BIENNIAL WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE GRANDE BIBLIOTHÈQUE OF MONTRÉAL IN THE FALL OF 2006. Champ
Libre is particularly proud to announce the presentation of its
7th MANIFESTATION INTERNATIONALE VIDÉO ET ART ÉLECTRONIQUE,
MONTRÉAL (MIVAEM), biennial event which will unfold
from the 20th of September until the 1st of October 2006 under
the theme: Cité Invisible/Invisible City. This grand scale
event, positioning itself at the meeting point of architecture
and new media, will takes place at the completely new site of
the GRANDE BIBLIOTHÈQUE of Montreal. This site, a brand
new location of knowledge and culture in Montreal (inauguration
April 2005), will be interjected in order to put forth an interdisciplinary
program and an in situ multi-network presentation which will touch
upon the domains of video, electronic arts, of architecture and
urban planning. Deadline of the call for projects is the 1st of
February 2006. |

FINALISTES POUR UN PRIX D'EXCELLENCE EN ARCHITECTURE 2005 DE L'ORDRE
DES ARCHITECTES DU QUÉBEC
Nous
sommes très heureux d'annoncer que L'événement
DÉSERT - 6E MANIFESTATION INTERNATIONALE VIDÉO ET
ART ÉLECTRONIQUE, MONTRÉAL (MIVAEM) présenté
par Champ Libre et qui s'est tenu à l'Incinérateur
des Carrières en septembre 2004 est finaliste pour un prix
d'excellence en architecture 2005 dans la catégorie: DESIGN
URBAIN - ARCHITECTURE D'ÉVÉNEMENT. La scénographie
de cet événement a été réalisé
par l'architecte québécois PAUL LAURENDEAU à
l'invitation de Champ Libre. Le jury présidé par l'architecte
et urbaniste française Odile Deck a souligné que...le
cadre élargi dans lequel les architectes pratiquent désormais
et qui leur permet de créer des projets innovateurs
dans les secteurs en émergence comme le design urbain, l'architecture
d'événements, le recyclage et la reconversion de bâtiments.
Les lauréats toutes catégories seront connus
le 30 août 2005.
Une présentation publique de la scénographie de l'événement DÉSERT aura lieu au Centre Canadien d'Architecture, CCA - 1920 rue Baile à Montréal - Métro : Guy Concordia, le jeudi 7 avril 2005 à 18:30 dans le cadre des présentations des 32 finalistes du prix d'excellence architecture 2005. L'architecte montréalais PAUL LAURENDEAU finaliste présentera le projet de Champ Libre - DÉSERT - 6E MIVAEM.

CHAMP LIBRE PRÉSENTERA UN ÉVÉNEMENT D'ART ÉLECTRONIQUE DANS LE QUARTIER CHINOIS DE MONTRÉAL DU 15 AU 19 JUIN 2005

LIBRE proposera du 15 au 19 JUIN 2005
dans le quartier chinois de Montréal connu sous le
nom de Chinatown, un micro événement d’art
électronique in situ d’une durée de cinq
jours intitulé: TERRE NOMADE/NOMAD'S LAND. Cet
événement aura lieu sur la place Sun Yat-Sen
à Montréal à l'angle des rues Clark et de
la Gauchetière.Une scénographie inter-active sera
proposée par Champ Libre pour la présentation
des oeuvres artistiques.L'événement
présentera également une conférence
publique sur l'interaction entre l'architecture et les
nouveaux médias en présence des artistes sélectionnés et
des architectes liés à l'événement.
Tous les jours de 12:00 à 23:00. CHAMP LIBRE WILL PRESENT AN ELECTRONIC ART EVENT IN THE CHINESE NEIGHBORHOOD OF MONTREAL FROM THE 15th TO THE 19th of JUNE 2005 CHAMP
LIBRE will propose from the 15th to the 19th of June 2005 in the
Chinese neighbourhood of Montreal, known under the name of Chinatown,
a micro in situ electronic art event lasting five days titled:
TERRE NOMADE/NOMAD'S LAND. This event will take place
on the Sun Yat-Sen square in Montréal at the corner of
the streets Clark and de la Gauchetière . An interactive
staging appropriate to the site will be proposed by Champ Libre
for the presentation of the artworks. The event will present a
public lecture on the interaction between architecture and the
new media in the presence of the selected artists and the architects
linked to the event. Every day from noon till 11PM. |

Libre pays to the artists whose works are presented, artist fees
and authors’ rights at the time of the event. These politics
have been applied since the foundation of the organization and are
