PRESENTED WORK
DRAWING THE STRING, QUEBEC, 2004
Drawing the string is a photographic
series of images taken during a Kyudo demonstration in downtown
Montreal. The photographs act as slices of time cut out
of a continuum, recreating the scene and effecting variations
and new familiarities. Within this shifting tableau motifs
emerge and a new story is written reflecting on change and
continuity.
